Twilio stock has slumped this year, but director Jeff Immelt, a former CEO of General Electric, recently bought shares of the cloud-communications platform company.
Twilio (ticker: TWLO) has dropped about 15% in 2021. Twilio was seen as a way to play online commerce during the Covid-19 pandemic. But in late October, it provided weak guidance and said that Chief Operating Officer George Hu was leaving. Its shares fell, and have recently traded at a 52-week intraday low of $266.29.
